two minutes of Spring...

and that's exactly what it has felt like here in mid freakin' April... two minutes!!
It serves me right for putting away all the winter clothes and breakin' out the capris and flip flops. I have had to visit the basement storage room a few times now and dig through the bins for some warm clothes, including scarves...yes SCARVES! You would think of the now 10 years I have lived in Northern Utah, it would sink in that winter can last until June 1st, but for some reason all those years growing up in St. George and literally having a great tan by the end of April still keeps me in denial.

Honestly, I have been anticipating warm weather, not just for the comfort of warm weather, but also as some motivation to get outside with my girls and less time curled up on the couch with my wool socks on watching re-runs of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and numerous Lifetime movies (of course all while doing mentally stimulating crafts with Camryn)...she can now name all three Kardashian sisters! I know, I am an amazing mom.

We did capitalize on the few nice days we have had by doing some yard work. While Bry and I were puttering around pulling weeds and potting plants Camryn decided to do her own 'pruning' by digging up all the tulips!!
